Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan

First recorded in the early 17th Century Ming medical classic 'Shou Shi Bao Yuan' (Guarding the Source to Promote Longevity), Bak Foong Pill was so efficacious that in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911), all the important women in the imperial palace were require to take them for health and well being. In the last 400 years since Bak Foong Pill existence, many experienced Chinese herbalists, physicians and medical scholars have modified and adjusted the ingredients based on the lifestyle, diet, geographical propensities and health challenges of the time. The name 'Bak Foong' means 'white phoenix' in Cantonese, derived from the special type of chicken used as a base ingredient in making the pill. This chicken, commonly called the 'black-bone chicken' has the characteristic of white feathers covering the body with bones and meat that are black. The main therapeutic benefit of this chicken is its ability to nourish the blood and fluids without producing excess heat. If it is not normal, the menstrual function has to be normalized first, irrespective of the patient's existing health complaints. In short, the woman is as healthy as her menstruation. Promote healthy menstruation and almost all of health concerns of women will be addressed. This why there is a TCM saying "When the moon matters are timely, the body healthy.
