Infertility treatment using Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine

    Infertility:

[Successful Story featured on newspaper. Please click to read...]

Infertility is when a couple fails to conceive (get pregnant) despite having regular unprotected sex. Although one in seven couples has difficulty conceiving, the number of couples who are actually infertile is relatively low. infertility treatment using acupuncture

About 85% of couples will conceive naturally within one year if they have regular unprotected sex.

Therefore, you will only be diagnosed as infertile if you have not managed to have a baby after two years of trying by your GP. If you have never conceived a child, it is known as primary infertility. Secondary infertility is when you have had one or more babies in the past, but you are having difficulty conceiving again.

Some women get pregnant very quickly but, for others, it can take longer. If you are a woman over the age of 35, or you are already aware that you may have fertility problems, then you should see your GP first. They may be able to check for common causes and suggest treatments that could help. If fertility problems are diagnosed, there are many different treatments and procedures that may be available to you.

Can acupuncture be used to treat infertility?

Acupuncture, frequently combined with herbal medicine, has been used for centuries to treat some causes of infertility. For example, acupuncture and herbs will not work to address tubal adhesions which can occur as a result of pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. However, in this situation, an individual could still benefit from acupuncture and herbs because of the potential effect of improved ovarian and follicular function. Additionally, it is shown that acupuncture can increase blood flow to the endometrium, helping to facilitate a thick, rich lining.

We have a very high successful rate to treat patients with infertility problems. We are very proud of our skills and would like to promote ourselves to help patients from around the UK. Normally our patients have tried many other treatments provided by GPs, other alternative methods before they come to us and we still achieve very good results. Some of our patients are in their 40s and were told by their GP to give up. We are very glad to say we were still able to treat patients of such kind successfully *.

We will make diagnosis for each individual patient and come up with different treatments according to the specific condition. Therefore, patients need to ring us to book an appointment for a free initial consultation first before starting a treatment.
